In light of recent events, I have officially dubbed this year (2022) the year of transition. This year not only saw me reach a milestone age, but saw a milestone number of changes. I started a new job the beginning of this year and within months I've seen multiple turnover and a few new managers. There have also been countless people I've known in established places for years, who this year have shifted out and I'm noticing there's something a bit off putting about 'new normals'. I think the amount of them this time around has shocked me a bit. It's even inspired, or put a bit of fire under myself to make my own changes.
As I begin to make my own changes in 2023, I'll remember to allow myself to actually feel proud that things are transitioning. Different doesn't have to be detrimental. I know that some of this is only going to make me more independent, more responsible and even better as an individual. For anyone reading this, feeling and seeing what I am. Let me encourage you that the change may not be the world ending, it's possible it's time for transition.
